Musician Akothee has penned a heartwarming letter to her three girls, telling them how to tackle adult life.
The singer has warned her children to be very careful about people around them, especially their female age mates.
Akothee told her children that she might not be physically present in their lives daily, but is walking with them and will always be by their side.
The mother of 5 also advised her daughter Rue Baby, Vesha, and Prudence to focus on their goals and not be deterred by online attacks.
Akothee wrote;
"Concentrate more on building your own self, yes I gave you a platform, but it's not your end goal nor your destiny.
Pull yourself and do great things that your feature will appreciate you for. Let the noise from the internet be sweet music to your ears, those are not your enemies, they are your cheerleaders/ they admire you, imagine performing without an audience.
You need those supporting you and those insulting you, that's the only way you will strike a balance in life."
The singer has proven to have a very close relationship with her r3 daughters.
She has always been encouraging them to be transparent with her.
Sometimes, she goes with the big girls to entertainment joints and even buys a glass of wine; something many parents in Kenya can never do.
