Gospel singer Size 8 had made plans to celebrate her 34th birthday in church but DJ Mo had other plans for her. Something exciting.

"I did not believe I would have this, I did not even suspect that he was planning this party. They did a good job. Mo has come through like a real Bazu," Size 8 said.

The grateful songstress added, "I have battled so much with life, the spirit of death has tried to take me down numerous time, all the more reason I enjoy life and I thank God."

When she showed up at the venue, thinking it is a photoshoot, she was so shocked when the guest screamed "surprise!".

Startled, she bolted from the entrance screaming.

Once the shock wore off, she joined the party.

The party was attended by the who is who in the gospel circles from Hope Kid to Masterpiece to Daddy Owen.

DK Kwenye Beat was one of the guests at the party, wishing the birthday girl all the best, he said, "I'm happy to be here. Size 8, Happy birthday, keep the fire in your ministry burning, Choma mahali inafaa kuchomwa, au sio?"

Daddy Owen also gave a toast and a speech praising Size 8.

"I have known Linet to be that one person who is steadfast in her faith. When she got born again, I was one of those people who were very skeptical, apart from just knowing her as a friend I wasn't sure if she stood firm in the ministry, to be very honest."

Daddy Owen stated that Size 8 is one of the few stars who stand with God's word.

"When you see a vessel like Size 8 be thankful because us as the ministry and as a country, we need her."

Milly Chebby left many teary eyed with her speech.

"You have been amazing. The Lord you serve is the one I want to serve too. You are always shining, I want to serve God the way you serve God."

Chebby said that Linet is always lucky because she bags endorsement after endorsement deal and they are all well paying.

"This year as you celebrate your 34th birthday, I pray that it will be greater. We will even forget Size 8 and start seeing Pastor Linet. May you keep shining."
