Israeli-born Kenyan artiste Gilad Milo is a proud dad after his daughter joined the Israeli Defense Forces.

Gilad who is best known for songs such as 'Unajua', has been living in Kenya for years.

Sharing photos of his daughter Lia, Gilad penned,

"My beautiful Lia  You came to Kenya 🇰🇪 when you were only 3 weeks old & now 18 years later you have chosen to go back to Israel and join the Israeli Defense Forces.

As your father, I couldn't be prouder, but I will miss you more than you can imagine.

I love you & I can't wait until we're together again! Good luck in this new chapter of your life  Fly high & shine bright & may God keep you happy, healthy & safe  @lia.millo."

Gilad is a former Israeli Diplomat who decided to venture into music which has alwasy been his passion.

He has recently ventured into garlic farming.
