Ugandan superstar Juliana Kanyomozi has for the first time opened up about parenthood since she welcomed her second-born child.

Speaking in a recent episode on her YouTube channel, Kanyomozi said she was alone in a foreign country during pregnancy.

It was emotional for her to learn that she was expectant.

"It took me a while to believe and like I would wake up in the morning and be like, 'something in my tummy'.

It was very personal," she said adding that her family and herself had prayed for it for a very long time.

"He listened to our prayers and gave us a beautiful baby. We are blessed," Kanyomozi shared.

The 'Usiende Mbali' hitmaker welcomed her second child six years after losing her 11-year-old son Keron who succumbed to an asthmatic attack.

Speaking about the pregnancy journey, Juliana said few months after she got pregnant, she moved to Canada only for her to be locked in there alone.

"The pandemic hit I remember there was a lockdown. I was all alone, pregnant. That was scary. My sister and baby daddy were supposed to come but they were not able to after."

She spent the rest of the time alone as she has a few people she knows from there.

"I didn't want to stress the few I knew. I had to be a big girl. it was depressing at some point coz I was handling everything by myself. I had to go to the hospital all alone."

Through the grace of God, she pushed through until the delivery time.

"For me, my ray of light is my baby. Apart from missing my family and hoping I was at home, I was comfortable and I managed by myself."

Juliana came back to her country early this year. Her son turned one year in May this year.
