Tanzanian singer Benard Mnyang'anga aka Ben Pol recently went public on details of his unsuccessful marriage to Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai.
In a candid interview with a Tanzanian media outlet, Ben Pol narrated their marriage journey and made some accusations against her ex-wife.
When the process of their divorce kicked off early this year, Anerlisa's lawyers gave Ben Pol a gag order.
It stated that he is not allowed to talk about Anerlisa in a manner that will ruin her reputation, that of her family nor her business.
"You immediately refrain from further conversing about her or her closed ones/issuing of false accusations against her and/or her closed ones namely;
James Muigai, Edward Mulgai, Tecra Muigai, Tabitha Karanja Mug& Joseph Muigai Karanja including Keroche breweries Limited and Nero Company Limited through your social media accounts or any related media outlets," read part of the legal document to Ben pol.
But has Ben Pol not gone against this gag order through his recent outburst? Does it call for legal action from Anerlisa?
One thing that Moyo Mashine hitmaker hinted was that Anerlisa was 'weak to men'. He said that she was prideful that men were sliding into her DM's.
Isn't this revelation among those that could have a negative impact on Anerlisa's image?
When opening up on marriage and divorce, Ben Pol knew that it is against the demands in Anerlisa's letter.
"I found the letter from her lawyers baseless because it was actually gagging me not to speak about my marriage.
I mean if you are married you have the right to speak about your marriage if you want to, how then do you gag someone from not speaking about their lives if they wish to do so," he said.
