Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz is living the soft life. When he is not hobnobbing with top American rappers and stars, he is jetting off in private planes to exotic destinations.
Today morning he landed in South Africa for a series of projects but most of all to visit his two children, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan.
Updating his fans he wrote, "And we off again... South Africa see you in a second..."
Hours later, he added, "Touched down safely in SA, I can’t wait to see my Angels... @princess_tiffah @princenillan."
Many gossip pundits have claimed that Diamond has bought a private jet. That is yet to be proven.
Owning a jet is super expensive. It is a preserve of the Ultra-rich.
This is because aside from purchasing the jet, the operating costs can run into billions of shillings.
However, what Diamond is probably doing is chartering a private jet which can cost anywhere from $2,000 (Ksh Ksh 200000) to $12,000 (Ksh 1.2m) per hour, according to Airshare.
While a private jet rental for an entire weekend can run $100,000 (Ksh 10m) or more.
This comes after Diamond bought a Cadillac and a Rolls Royce in weeks.
His business development manager Salam SK spoke about buying a private jet for Wasafi.
"When we get a jet it also has to make business sense at the moment we are in talks with companies to hire it out. It won't just be for Diamond to travel in. At the moment these plans at 80% done."
Adding, "The jet will be acquired by August, if aviation officials give us a clear. It is a 13 seater jet. You don't have to buy a jet in cash, you can get a loan."
