I'm like a charity case to Diamond - Mzee Adbul

• Diamond Platnumz' adoptive father said, "I won't lie, I felt like I was just one of the many people he gave money as part of charity not like a son would. But I thanked God because now I could see he is mindful of me!"

Mzee Adbul is wondering what role he holds in Bongo music star's Diamond Platnumz' life.

This is after the mother, Sandra Sanura announced that he was not the birth father but rater, an adoptive parent.

Speaking to Mbego TV, the star's father expressed his fears. Asked if he was to be invited to Diamond's wedding if he would go, Mzee Abdul said, "Yes, if I'm invited."

He continued, "The worst thing would be if I'm not told about the ceremony, that would be very sad and tragic. Because you can go and when you get to the gate you are turned away or they let you in but say you are a sign of bad luck for showing up, as an unwanted presence."

During the Eid Ul Fitr celebrations a month ago, Diamond reached out to the dad and sent him some money and food items.

His father said, "I won't lie, I felt like I was just one of the many people he gave money as part of charity not like a son would. But I thanked God because now I could see he is mindful of me!

That gave me heart, knowing, if he can help me now, then the next thing is he can bury me. I was grateful and I sent him a text message thanking him, and life goes on."
