Kenyan Comedian and content creator DJ Shiti have advised Kenyan upcoming and legendary entertainers to always put everything under a contract.

This is because not knowing what a project involves, how, and where to carry it out has gotten many artists in trouble.

He also advised people to have discipline as without it one cannot go far. "As an artist, you must have discipline otherwise you won't go anywhere," he said.

"Discipline is what got me here. Whether you are a footballer, actor, etc. You must be aggressive in expressing what you can do and how you can do it.

Before you, say you can do something ask for a contract let everything you do let it be noted down on paper.

Don't be quick to become famous, most artists shave gotten in trouble for not having a contract. If you are famous with nothing to show for it where will you hide?"

His advice comes at a time when he has called out local TV stations for killing shows.

According to Shiti shows such as Real Househelps of Kawangware and Aunty Boss were killed by office politics.

"Some shows die a natural death especially if the producer does not like you.

I remember there's a show I had on a local tv station and I remember while on the field shooting a director came to where we were.

The first thing he asked is 'nani anakula hii while pointing to some ladies.

That really pissed me off.

That s why I am focusing on creating my content digitally. Years from now I do not want my daughter to be asked for sex for her to land a job."
