Kameme FM TV presenter Wangechi Wa Kariuki is the newest mum in town after welcoming a baby girl. Wangechi welcomed her newborn just a day after she buried her mum.

The bubbly host now says her mother's soul is at peace as she had wanted to be 'named' after by Wangechi, something she has fulfilled.

Taking to her social media to share a glimpse of her bundle of joy, Wangechi penned,

"And just a day after we buried our loving mum, God has just granted her wish and a new beautiful baby girl is born.

Florence Wambui Mbatia is reborn. And as she would tell me. Why can't God let you deliver a girl to be named after me?

And yes her prayers were granted. God is good. UiiiiiMy friends help me together with my family thank God for a miracle, he has indeed wiped our tears."

On July  9th, Wangechi had taken to her social media to mourn the death of her mum with the caption below.

"And why do beautiful souls always leave us why surely. My best friend, my mum in love left us. Ohh how I will miss you. All the stories and laughter we shared All in all Ngai ndarutaguo mahitia rest with angels.mum.R.I.P mama."
