Ex Machachari actor Malik alias Govi says the birth of his sister came with its blessings and challenges.

This is because he was still young and yet he had to be a big brother a role he was clueless on how to carry.

Celebrating his sister Mercy, Govi sweetly penned:

“On 15th July a Queen was born.

I was only 6 years old but felt some kind of responsibility had come my way because guess what.

I had just become a brother..my mum and dad were overjoyed seeing Malika and I couldn't help but look at the beautiful baby everyday.

I didn’t know how to handle babies so you'd most of the time find me throwing Malika up and down scaring her with horrific facial expressions.

That was until the day I went to play peek-a-boo with her then she puked on me, that’s when the beef started."

Govi added that despite all the responsibilities that came his way for being a big brother, he would not have it any other way.

“Seeing you grow into the fine lady you are is a complete blessing to me and my family.

Mercy you have been one of the strongest pillars in my life and for that, I am grateful I would never ask for any other sister.

We have been through so much together but at least nowadays life is good and we can all smile thanks to God Happy birthday Mercy Malika Mbelle.

I can’t wait to see you on your 100th birthday. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy! Please join me in wishing and celebrating my sister’s birthday @mercmalika.”
