Media personality Willis Raburu has come out to address a lot of issues about him that have been aired on the social media street.

He did not get the chance to announce that he and his new base, Ivy Namulinda are expecting a baby. The news was leaked.

The arrival of their new tot was also leaked online and as a consequence, the couple decided to share the good news with the fans.

Now, Willis has shed some light on what he thinks about social media. Taking to his social media he posted a series of Insta stories.

"These streets are often a mirage. So make sure you have true friends, family and yes you can find them online as well but even if you do make sure you love them offline as well, that's where the real happiness and peace is."

The bubbly newsman added that he now knows who his real friends and family are:

"Social media is great but I feel that sometimes we forget what really matters. You can connect on social media no doubt about that BUT it cannot be the end of it all. Before you share your problems, milestones, celebrations.

Remember,

1. To celebrate yourself.

2. To share with your inner circle (you know the ones who really care not those on the comment sections gassing you up or hating on you )."

Willis pointed out what his journey has been like.

"Finally try as much as you can to live authentically, it is not a competition. God made you who you are. Find out who you really are away from the facade and yes, it is ok to take a break and find yourself."

He continued, "Seek validation on the inside first, then from your inner circle and if you don't have one TRY get one. People who won't lie to you, who are not afraid to tell you the truth because often many "friends" will watch you burn and add the fuel to the fire by lying to you."

Explaining what it is like to have real friends despite the leaks, Willis said:

"Real connections exist outside of these streets, and often real help exists outside these social media streets. I'm not saying you won't find motivation or inspiration here but TRY as much as you can to find it first without searching for it here because often it will be fickle and for keeping up appearances."

Advising his fans the new dad said, "Do not compare yourself with anyone, or at least try not to. It's ok to aspire but don't get lost trying to be someone else. You are not made to be a cheap imitation of an expensive original.BE YOU!"
