Nick Odhiambo replaces Prof.Hamo on Hot 96

• Nick parted ways with Standard Group-owned station Radio Maisha where he worked for four years.

Radio Presenter Nick Odhiambo has replaced comedian Professor Hamo on Hot 96.

A poster shared on Hot 96 social media platforms reveals that Nick will be co-hosting the breakfast show with Jeff Koinange from 6-10 am.

Initially, Jeff was hosting the show with comedian Hamo before he quit for other businesses.

Nick parted ways with Standard Group-owned station Radio Maisha where he worked for four years.

Nick announced his exit from the station on Tuesday saying that he is going back to an English Radio station after four years on a Swahili station.

“Today's my final RHUMBA show on air after 4years at @radiomaisha! Did I ever think i'd switch to swahili radio? NOPE but the opportunity came and i took it. transitioning back to English radio in a few days tupige sherehe leo buuuuuurrrdan is burrrdaaan #PapaNickYeboooo!”

At Radio Maisha, Nick used to host a show called #ClubRhumba alongside DJ Darius and DJ Works, from 7pm to 10pm (Monday to Friday).
