Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has resulted to chicken farming after quitting his security job.

After spending close to two years at the Kamiti Maximum Prison Jowie has found a new livelihood in his farm at Rift Valley.

In an Instagram live video, Jowie took fans around his farm where there are hundreds of layers.

"This is my hustle, despite singing, security and selling water. One tray is going for 300, if you take more than 200 trays, you get a discount," Jowie noted.

He went ahead to explain to fans how he manages the business, feeding the chicken and providing them with water.

"Mimi si mwizi. I am not a conman. Am hustling, anyone who wants to consult is welcome. You will pay for a course, someone will teach you how to feed them and treat them when they are sick," he noted.

He briefly explained to fans how he manages the chicken by cutting their beaks to prevent them from eating the eggs.

Jowie also proclaimed some blessings upon his fans;

"May God bless the work of your hands, May he favour you and lift you up. Everything you put in the hands of God will be blessed."

He was released from Kamiti Maximum Prison in 2020 after spending 2 years behind the bar after being connected to the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
