Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli is trending again after his infamous road sign was vandalised last night.

Photos shared online shows the signboard up in flames after unknown people used car tyres to set it ablaze.

The sign board, which was reinstated barely a fortnight ago after it was brought down, has been at the centre of controversy.

A section of Kenyans on social media argued that the COTU boss has done nothing for workers he represents to warrant a road named after him.

Atwoli had ensured the signboard is reinstated and a CCTV camera installed in the area to monitor those with the intention to vandalize the sign post.

The road was formerly known as DikDik Road.
