Kenyan artiste David Mathenge alias Nameless has joined the country in mourning the death of business mogul Chris Kirubi.

Kirubi who was known to many as CK passed away surrounded by his family on Monday 14/6/2021.

Through a social media post Nameless has revealed he was to contact the tycoon to feature in their latest show 'This Love.'.

Sadly it won't be happening.

We met him those days when wahu was modeling for Miss Kenya and he joked about it all the time till late last year. we had planned to call him to do an interview for our DocuReality because he was an important part of our journey. This news has shocked me. Rest well dear friend! You will forever inspire many with your life story.. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💔''

The news of his death was confirmed by his family.

In a statement, they wrote, 

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Christopher J. Kirubi (1941-2021) who passed away today, Monday the 14th of June, 2021 at 1 pm at his home after a long battle with cancer fought with fortitude, grace, and courage. He was surrounded by his family."

He leaves behind two kids, a son and a daughter.
