Nigerian singer Seyi Shay did not think her diss track from 2019 would cause her so much trouble three years down the line.

On June 8, 2021, Seyi Shay bumped into Tiwa Savage at a salon in Lagos and things just blew up on her face when she went to say high to the megastar.

Tiwa calmly told Seyi Shay, "I don't want to disgrace you or embarrass you, you owe me. But don't think you guys will do what you did."

Seyi Shay refused to defend herself saying she will not air any dirty laundry to which Tiwa said, “Don’t come to me and think you can say hi with the dirty and disgusting spirit that you have.

You think I have forgotten what you guys did? You did a whole song; you and that b*tch did a whole song.

You went on interviews and said sh*t about me and I didn’t say anything.” 

An agitated Tiwa went on to explain, “I have never slept with your man. I have never taken a job from you.

I have never gone on the radio to say sh*t. You don’t try and squash sh*t by saying hi.” 

Before Seyi Shay could put in any word in her defence, Tiwa savagely concluded the argument saying, "I'm made I won't take anything from you," before the video ends.
