The world menstrual hygiene day went down last week and this year's theme is 'Action and Investment in Menstrual Hygiene and Health'

Philanthropist Mwenda Thuranira cum aspiring Isiolo North Member of Parliament joined the campaign in raising awareness about menstrual health by donating sanitary towels to school-going girls

"WORLD MENSTRUAL HYGIENE. Menstrual Health is a daily conversation in households, schools and communities across the world. Every adolescent girl and woman should have access to clean menstrual hygiene management materials like sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups, reusable napkins and the dignified privacy to change them as frequently as needed#mambofresh," he wrote on social media

Thuranira, who is passionate about helping women and children distributed food on Mother's day to celebrate the mothers in his constituency.

A few days ago, he gave charity to the differently-abled children from Isioa by donating wheelchairs through his foundation.
