Former BBC journalist Makena Njeri shocked many by publicly admitting that she is gay.
In a bold statement, Makena said that hiding her sexual orientation from the public has been a big burden on her shoulders.
"I remember for the first time in my life after very many years looking at myself in the mirror and I said to myself, I am gay, I am unique and this is my truth. This was a victory for me without knowing it would be a journey to boldness," Said Makena as she revealed her truth.
The boldness in Makena has already impacted other members of the LGBT community in Kenya.
Now, singer/socialite Noti Flow has also come out on her sexual orientation.
She has been posting pictures of herself getting cozy with a fellow woman, King Alami, and even moved in together.
“Our first night apart since we moved in together & I wake up to this 🥺😭😭😭😭 She's in love with me like I'm in love with her 💘 Nobody should stop this kind of love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🦄🌈” posted Noti Flow.
Many expect the Photo Moto hitmaker to be in a relationship with a man, but she has proved that its not the case.
And yesterday, Noti Flow said, “Everything I ever wanted in him I found in her ❤️.”
