Diamond Platnumz’ estranged father, Abdul Naseeb in a rare interview he granted Tanzanian media, revealed that he has never met Zari nor her children (by Diamond). He hasn't even gotten to speak to them on the phone:

”aah! sijai ona wajukuu wangu ata sauti yake zari sijawai sikia”

The day he had planned to pay them a visit, Diamond had conveniently gone for a music tour, denying him a chance to see his grandchildren.

Zari, Diamond's ex sired two children by Diamond, Tiffany and Nillan.

Zari and Diamond are no longer together and she has on multiple occasions accused him of being a dead beat dad.

Mzee Naseeb and Diamond also have a strained relationship, with Diamond accusing his father of being a dead beat who left his family while he (Diamond) was still at a young age.
