Tusker Cider has turned one-year-old! The deliciously crisp and refreshing drink was launched last year and created an immediate impact in the market.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, the Tusker Cider team visited the the Radio Africa offices, one year after they first launched their product with Kiss 100.
And they came bearing gifts! These were in the form of a delicious Tusker Cider flavored cake made by their Brand Ambassador and very talented baker Anita Nderu.
Tusker Cider has come a long way since their launch. Speaking during last years launch event at the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi, Kenya Breweries Limited’s Marketing and Innovations Director, Stephen O’Kelly said the launch of Tusker Cider in a can format was driven by the company’s commitment to expand consumers’ experience within the beverage alcohol market, coupled with a growing customer demand for the can version of Tusker Cider.
He added that, Tusker Premium Cider is specially made for the “sophisticated and savvy consumers who are looking for a new drinking experience”.
And it seems like the consumers have given it their approval! Created from fresh apples, perfectly-balanced for a unique drinking experience, Tusker Cider now makes up 10% of all Tusker sales!
