New music, new look! It is evident how Tanzania's top bongo flava artist Diamond Platnumz's smiles all the way to the bank after a series of hit tracks. Well, his current hit song Salome revealed how this celebrated artist has turned into a fashion icon.

According to Diamond, the video has since then hit over 6 million views revealing the kind of following he has. However, one thing that stood out for him is his transformation and his current sense of fashion. Cudos to his designer!

Naseeb Abdul Juma (Diamond) hit the limelight with the song Mbagala, then came Kamwambie which introduced him to the East African market. Since then, Platnumz has made headlines across Africa with songs like Lala Salama, Mdogo Mdogo, Moyo Wangu, Nitampata Wapi and Nataka Kulewa which opened ways for collabos with different artists in Africa.

Simba as he is populary known in his hometown has collaborated with Nigeria's Davido in the song Number One, Kidogo with P-square, Make Me Sing with AKA, Colors Of Africa with Mafikizolo and the famous Sweet Love with Kenyan's songstress Akothee.

The 27 year old is considered influential among his fans, and is said to be the most loved  Tanzanian artist at the moment, which will surely see his fans get to copy his style.
