The Sad Reason Why My First Girlfriend Left Me *Sob*

I am one person who never opens up about personal issues (especially girlfriend stuff) but I have to do this. When I cleared high school I fell in love with a lovely girl. I won't name her but I'll tell you part of the story. I got myself into a long distance relationship that would have never lasted. I had big dreams for my writing, including writing for the British Airways in flight magazine, the . I had an amazing copy of the magazine (apart from a Tatler Magazine copy that I've had since then) that kept me motivated to take my writing to the next level.

We met at the onset of the December holidays and after a few weeks of spending time together, having fun and getting to know each other better, she went for holiday abroad. At that time, I had a feature phone with no Instant Messaging (IM) apps like Skype and Whatsapp. Communication between us ended instantly as she had a Smartphone but I didn't. She ended up getting frustrated; she got bitter as days flew by as to why I was taking her for granted.

I tried to make things right through our communication via Facebook but it was a downhill slump that I could do nothing about to save myself.

Years on, I now have a Microsoft Lumia Smarphone which has all the IM apps that I need to talk to my friends, family and work mates who are both here in Nairobi and around the world. I can now use Telegram, Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, Blackberry Messenger, Facebook Messenger and Instagram to keep up with the latest stuff that the people in my circles are up to.

I love my Lumia Phone because it is also an office on the go. The free Microsoft Office suite allows me to draft quick documents and send to my manager through the highly convenient Outlook app. It sends stuff INSTANTLY. What if I had this phone back then? I would still be in that relationship, right? I bet my phone saves me from such unfortunate happenings, too. I mean, I could miss a deadline but thanks to my Lumia Phone, I have myself covered.

The other features that a Lumia Phone has is that it gives you FREE 30 GB One Drive cloud storage so that you can save your documents, contacts and other vital data and information that you generate in your day to day activities. You do not have to worry about losing anything in case you lose your phone. I suggest you go to any Microsoft Lumia outlet - e.g. Midcom and Nokia stores countrywide.

By the way, be sure to visit this for other Lumia offers.
