END OF THE ROAD! Kenya's Most Wanted Thug Finally Arrested (PHOTOS)

A man who is said to be one of the country's most wanted criminals was finally arrested on Monday, January 2.

Police apprehended Joseph Ndung'u alongside three of his accomplices in Ndaire-Reli Village in Kikuyu after being alerted by area residents.

The officers reportedly arrived at his home in seven vehicles where they recovered two fake pistols, three TV sets and a drum believed to have been stolen from a local church.

Among the items that were three bamboo sticks tied together. Police suspect that the gang used it to train on aiming guns.

Ndung'u allegedly escaped police killed Kennedy Kinyanjui - the former leader of the gang - with five others.

One of the people he escaped together with was killed later on while the other who goes by the name Shikuku is still at large.

Speaking after being arrested, Ndung'u said he was innocent but he could not explain how the fake guns ended up in his grandmother's house.
