As the general elections nears, candidates for various seats have started warming up. From campaigning to acquiring more educational certificates, no one wants to be left behind.

Today, during USIU's annual graduation ceremony, many local politicians graduated from the institution with degrees and masters in different fields. Senator Charles Keter, Hon Kanini Kega, Hon Cecily Mbarire, Hon Fara Maalim and Hon Mwangi Kiunjuri were among the graduands.

There is a proposed amendment by the IEBC that the election laws to put a minimum of a degree for anyone who want to vie for any position even the MCA .
