Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko's first-born daughter Saumu Mbuvi is known for living large and there's no doubt that she's one of the most flamboyant politicians daughters in the country.

Saumu Mbuvi is the first-born daughter in a family of three girls, and their adopted brothers, baby Satrin Osinya and Gift Osinya - who scored 399 marks in this year's KCPE.

Over the years, Saumu Mbuvi has grown from a young lass who loved controversy, fame and publicity to become a mature lady who has now settled down. Recently, she revealed that she was pregnant, after a lot of speculation.

Before coming out publicly to reveal her boyfriend, Saumu was very secretive about her private and love life, with many wondering who her main man really was.

Other than showing her philanthropic and caring side, where she has severally been spotted helping out the less fortunate and giving out money, Saumu Mbuvi is also a politician in waiting.

She has been following in her father’s footsteps and never shies away from airing her opinion on political issues in Kenya. The lavish lass was the Vice-President of the Students Union at her former school Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Karen campus.

After clearing campus, Saumu officially introduced her boyfriend to her fans. The lucky man goes by the name, Benson Gatu, who is a political aspirant eyeing the Juja Parliamentary seat come next year.

Word on the street is, the dude is intelligent, humble and down to earth despite coming from a wealthy family. There were rumours that Sonko was not for the idea of his daughter settling down with the said guy, but it looks like those were just rumours.

Saumu shocked her fans when she recently revealed that she is expecting a child with the love of her life, which explained her glow and stunning looks lately.

From the look of things, Saumu and her boo are very happy and excited as they anxiously await their little one. The other notice-able thing is how Sonko's daughter looks more elegant and radiant as her baby bump grows bigger.
