BET award wining artiste Eddy Kenzo is not happy. Eddy hs called out the organisers of this weekend's, MTV Africa Music Awards that went down in South Africa. The awards saw Kenyan pop group Sauti Sol brought the gong home.

Sauti Sol scooped the Best Group award beating off stiff competition from Mi Casa (ZA), Navy Kenzo (TZ), R2Bees (NG) and Toofan (TG) to scoop one of the key categories at the world acclaimed awards.

Sauti Sol were the only East African act to win an award at the ceremony that is traditionally dominated by South African and West African countries. This year, Nigeria bagged most of the awards.

After being named the winners, Sauti Sol, who had been nominated in four different categories, took to social media to thank their loyal fans across East Africa.

But not everyone is thankful. Ugandan award winning star, Eddy Kenzo called out the organisers of MAMAs and raised issue with the voting systems. The Sitya Loss act doesn't understand how Cassper Nyovest won the award for Best Live Act while the online portal showed that he had the least votes of the four contestant.

In a Facebook post that has been shares over 250 times, Eddy wrote,

"I'm airtel ambassador MTN is the main sponsor 4 mamas and the winner in my category is mtn ambassador south Africa, Hehehe just for just. Remember!! I have performed in over 35 countries 10 of them full stadium what else? they told us to vote and my fans did go on all @mtvbaseafrica platforms click on #Bestliveact and see the winner by your self I'm not being jealous here, but I do complain because they told us to vote and the fans decide. go back and check their posts down thats what they said even in emails. I was the most voted in my category remember wen you click on #Bestliveact you can see the results Stonboy was 2nd flavour 3rd Caspa 4th. on all @mtvbaseafrica platforms even if it was you!!! should have felt the same. may be!
