In another post, she wrote,

Even as I am heavy under this cloak of grief,
My wounded and torn heart still finds words of praise for God’s blessings.

Even as space rings with my lover’s distant voice,
My ears are filled with sounds from the living.

Rain beating the earth softly.
Birds chirping.
Leaves rustling.

Bob died on July 1, 2019, after a long battle with acute myeloid leukaemia cancer.

He died aged 61.
