If you think you're having a bad day, think about that couple who got married then broke up hours laters.

Photos of Moi university couple who got married in a colourful Swahili theme wedding have gone viral.

The two 'lovebirds' Isaac Mureithi and Lucy Kamau spent Ksh. 100,000 on their flashy wedding. The ceremony which was held in Eldoret brought business to a standstill. Residents of Eldoret town were surprised to see such a nice wedding and they went ahead to gossip about it.

Mureithi and Mercy exchanged vows just as it is a norm. The students who are pursuing a bachelor's degree course in Hospitality and Tourism, are in their fourth year.

Well, according to a lecturer in their faculty, this wasn't a real wedding but just a mock practical exam.
