Veteran Vioja Mahakami actor Gibson Mbugua popularly known as the 'Prosecutor' has broken his silence on rumour going round that he is dead.

Photos of the actor have been doing rounds on social media with many claiming that he's dead.

Speaking to a local blog, he said he was alive and people should ignore the rumours.

People are saying Prosecutor of Vioja Mahakamani is dead, I'm alive it's my friend Mzee Kihara who died, I'm shocked to see my photos on Facebook saying prosecutor has died.

Prosector lost his mother recently and she was buried on July 14.
