Kristoff Barton is definitely one of the high-flying rappers in Kenya right now, but away from music, his dating life happens to be marred by controversy.

The 'Dandia' rapper has been linked to several female celebrities in the country, something he has denied, the biggest drama being when one of his rumoured girlfriends, Yvonne Darcq, hit rapper Kush Tracey with a bottle of beer at a night club for talking to Kristoff.

Kush Tracey came out to admit that she was involved with the rapper but that was before he hooked up with Yvonne Darcq. Another lass he has been linked to is one rapper Petra, who was among the female rappers in Ligi Soo remix, which he still denied.

There has also been word that he is also romantically involved with top Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika, and that they were actually dating and planning on getting a child together.

Wow, this love triangle is just giving me a head spin! Well, Kristoff has finally had it with the rumours about Vera and blames it all on one man; the Raverend and bad boy himself, Shaffie Weru!

Speaking to Pulse, Kristoff openly blames this rumours of secretly dating Vera on Shaffie Weru, though he doesn't clearly state why. Maybe he means that Shaffie is the one who started the rumour mongering? Well, I'm sure it's on a light note though.

When asked whether it was true that he was planning on having a baby with Vera or whether they are involved romantically, this is what he had to say:

Vera is a good friend who fell for me after the You Guy video shoot. We talk from time to time. The rest can be blamed on Shaffie Weru and God knows why! I said she is just a friend and that the rest is a creation of Shaffie Weru. She is just a friend and the rest is a creation of Shaffie Weru.

When Kristoff was asked about who is the main chic between Yvonne Darcq, Kush Tracey, Petra and Vera, this is what he told Pulse:

Let me state it clearly that I have a girlfriend and she does not work in the music industry. I'm helping out Yvonne with her music and showing her ropes around the business. She is my friend too. The others are merely lady friends who I have been spotted with. People, paparazzi rather, see me in a group of people including a female celebrity in most cases and automatically assume I'm sleeping around. That is not the case. I hope this settles that matter once and for all.

So, Kristoff has revealed that he is dating someone whose not a celebrity? We wonder who she is. Whether he is telling the truth or not, I must admit he is smart on how he played this out.
