A water vendor from Nakuru gave an interesting response on Sunday after being caught in bed with the wife of a police officer.

According to media reports, the cop arrived at his matrimonial home around 3:00 a.m only to find the mother of his three children in bed with another man.

The two men who he had asked to accompany him on suspicion that his wife was cheating on him guarded the back door as he knocked on the front.

After knocking for long, a water vendor by the name Muriithi tried escaping using the back door but he was pushed back into the house by the man's friends.

When put to task on why he was at the police officer's house in the wee hours of the night, Muriithi said he had gone to collect some Sh5,000 that he had loaned the woman.

The water vendor added that he had no idea that he didn't have an idea that the woman, who he says runs a business next to his in Nakuru town, is married.

The incident has since been reported at Nakuru Teachers Police Post and an investigation has already been launched.
