Justice Mbugua Mureithi further barred the organisation and its directors Terry Mungai & Franck Zahiten from publishing or either leaking the photographs on social media after the beauty queen told court they had threatened to do so.

Roshanara who was supposed to compete for Miss World 2016 this December was stripped of her Kenyan title through an official press release from the organisation early this month.

She has sued the organisation, Mungai, Zahiten and her close rival Evelyn Njambi who she says are using her private sensitive photographs to blackmail her so that she can surrender her earned title as Miss World Kenya.

Through lawyer Rebecca Mogire, Roshanara Ebrahim told court yesterday that she was afraid that her name and character will be ruined by the three who have threatened to publish the photographs in the media, contrary to her rights to privacy.

“I am apprehensive that in the circumstances, the three are in possession of private photographs and may publish them. I have and continue to loss contract and business opportunities that I have acquired due her rightful earned title and the right to participate in the coveted miss world beauty pageant” she states in an affidavit.

The lawyer said Mungai and Zahiten have acted on unsubstantiated information from Njambi to blackmail Roshanara.

“The petitioner was not consulted on the purported dethronement and only came to learn of the same from the media" the court heard” the lawyer said.

While issuing the orders, the judge was of the view that Roshanara’s fear is valid and the organisation was planning to act in an unlawful and unconstitutional manner.

“The intended withdraw over allegation against her and the same be given to Evelyne Njambi will have to await the outcome of the petition before the court," he added.

Miss World Kenya 2016, Roshanara Ebrahim duly competed and won the title at a beauty pageant held in Kilifi County at the Pata Beach Club, Malindi and she is scheduled represent Kenya in the 66th Miss World competition.

In their communication, the organisation cited breach of their conduct and contract as the reason behind Roshanara's dethroning.
