Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone is in trouble after his car was impounded by Uganda Revenue Authorities (URA) over claims that he is yet to pay taxes for his Toyota Land Cruiser V8.
Last week, the ‘Valu Valu’ hitmaker was seen exchanging words with employees from URA, in a video that circulated online in Uganda.
He refused to present documentation of the car and walked away.
Well, according to Ugandan media pundits, URA later stormed into the singer’s house and impounded the car. To date, the car is still registered in South Sudanese license plates.
Chameleone is expected to remit the unpaid taxes or else his car might be auctioned.
This is the second time a thing like this has happened to the singer. In 2014, he had issues with URA overn his Cadillac Escalade over tax arrears which he later reclaimed.
