'Don't send her fare!' MP Millie Odhiambo advises boy child

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has advised young Kenyan men to spot sending women fare.

Her advice comes at a time when men have been complaining about women 'eating' fare and blocking them or going silent once they send them cash.

Speaking to a local daily, the outspoken politician said,

Why send them money, to begin with? In an equal world, let everyone pay for their fare. Pay fare to visit a man and let the man pay his own fare to visit you. If you are foolish enough to send a woman fare to visit you, do not complain if they use it because you're no longer in a relationship, but are an ATM machine and ATMs do not complain when people withdraw money. Relationships should not be commercialised by either men or women.
