Don't Mess With Government! A Warrant Of Arrest Is Out For Social Activist And Rebel Boniface Mwangi

After Boniface Mwangi dramatically walking out on Jeff Koinange's show last night, because he did not want to engage with Moses Kuria, he now has an even bigger problem. Gava is looking for him.

Boniface Mwangi is seen as a rebel. A voice of the people. A man who has balls of steel. A force that can go up against anyone. Including big wigs in government.

We have just learnt that there is a warrant of arrest that has been issued against the human rights activist. The warrant was issued by a Kibera court. He failed to appear in court for the mention of a case in which he is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Boniface was to appear in court yesterday (November 2) under a previous warrant of arrest that had been issued by another court. Police are yet to execute the warrant. His bail has been forfeited and police are looking for him.

According to reports Boniface allegedly skipped court without a valid reason and with no legal representation.

The warant stem from an incident that happened on March 7, 2014. Boniface Mwangi was charged that at Wilson Airport police station report office and inquiry desk, he behaved in a disorderly manner and resisted arrest.

Principal Magistrate Barbara Ojoo allowed the application for a warrant of arrest . The case will be mentioned on December 8.
