Popular turntablist Fred Karumba, popularly known as DJ Krowbar, couldn't be more excited after landing his first high-paying gig in a foreign country.

For those not in the know, the disc jockey who was a co-host of KTN's Tukuza Show for more than five years, relocated to South Africa with his family in January year.

Krowbar made the revelation on through social media pages saying that his two daughters were loving their new neighbourhood in Parow.

He also posted a video showing his children namely Toria and Riri playing around after they settled in.

After moving to South Africa, things have started looking out for him as he recently landed his fist gig.

Taking to Instagram, Krowbar revealed that he will be playing tomorrow, Thursday, April 27 at a local entertainment joint known as 33 South Backpackers.

‘’I am so excited about tomorrow, my first gig in Cape town. Morrow it's Freedom Day in South Africa. #BeatsAndBraai #Excited #PlayAfricaBuildAfrica,’’ he wrote.
