From looking at his current state, you can't tell that he ever had to struggle a day in his life.

He has a glow to him that only money occasions. Add to that the fact that he's fat and he now has a string of cars and employees who help him build his brand and you can see why I am saying what I did at the very beginning. And he got all this from DJing.

But like every man that's self made, DJ Joe Mfalme's backstory is an interesting one. For starters, he didn't start out in the lap of luxury with a silver spoon in his mouth. He started off in some backwater town in Meru. And growing up, he saw his fair share of struggle and strife.

He recently opened up about his journey and it was through a short, insightful quip -he really is a man of few words. What he said was:

Back in the day, I sold fruits with my mum in Meru to survive hard times. What hustle got you through yours?

Succinct. And now the man is making mad money from his mad talent. Proof enough that you can make it if you try.
