A clearly haggard and stressed out Betty Bayo has finally broken her silence and granted audience to media cameras who asked her rather interesting questions. First of which was,

What was your reaction to The Jicho Pevu expose?

Her response was:

"I really got shocked. It was my friends who told me and I fainted. That was news to me. He (Kanyari) would hide alot from me because he knew I would always be against it. Alikuwa anasema wewe ni msee wa kelele sana. Huyu Bayo ni mtiaji."

The next question asked was:

Have you ever heard that your husband was purporting to perform miracles?

Her response was:

I didn't think it was that serious. And infact the extent of some of the things was scary. I don't know why he did what he did but I know KTn would not have run that story if it was false.
