Former NTV Presenter Richard Chacha has been off the limelight after a road accident that changed his life for good. He no longer walks like he used to before the year 2012.

A group of journalists including Chacha were traveling in a Prado TX when the accident occurred, leaving him paralyzed from his waist downwards. They were head to Kilgoris for a Fundraiser.

Now, Mombasa County governor Hon. Hassan Joho has offered Chacha a County Job. He appointed the former news man as the Director of Communications and Public Relations of Mombasa County.

His fans took to the governor's Facebook page to congratulate Chacha on his new assignment. Joho also wished the newly appointed PR director all the best in his job;

"I have appointed Mr. Richard Chacha as the Director of Communications and Public Relations of Mombasa County. He was a renowned journalist and one of the most popular faces on Prime Time News.

Mr. Chacha holds a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism (majored in Public Relations) from university, of Nairobi. He was NTV's Senior Political Affairs Editor and known for his instinctive reporting and high level of professionalism.

I congratulate him and wish him well on his new appointment."

In accepting the post, Chacha took to facebook to thank God and also thanked the governor for having faith in him.
