President Uhuru Kenyatta will be hitting the campaign trail soon and if he wants to endear himself to the youth voters he should learn a thing or two from the pop culture books.

Last weeks during the launch of the Jubilee digital membership cards, comedian Dr. Ofweneke tried to get President Uhuru Kenyatta to dance the shoki.

This is how it went down.

I have prepared a list of five popular dance moves that will make his young audience drop their jaws in shock if he busts one of these moves. Promise.

Bazo Kizo

This dance was made popular by celebrated rapper Collo Mfalme and newbie act Bruz Newton in their single Bazo Kizo. The song is Collo's first gospel single after he gave his life to Christ.

The dance became a big hit in the entire country with hundreds of fans shooting their own videos to the Bazo Kizo tune as part of the viral challenge. Bruz revealed that all the dancers in the Bazo Kizo video are from Dandora. And the dance is a victory dance created by an orphan who grew up in SOS Children's Home, called Joseph Mumbi a.k.a Bazo.

Dab

The dab is a dance move in which the dancer simultaneously drops their head while raising an arm and the elbow in a gesture that has been noted to resemble sneezing. As a Sports Illustrated article about the phenomenon described the dab, "The dance is pretty simple; one leans in to their elbow like they’re sneezing."

A number of politician including Hillary Clinton have sipped the cool aid.

Hit the Quan

Hit the Quan was a dance that was originally performed by Rich Homie Quan in his video for the song "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)". The dance Rich Homie Quan did in the video soon became a hit with numerous vines being produced portraying the dance. At that time, most people referred to the dance routine as simply the "Rich Homie Quan" dance.

Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)

This is the debut single by the American rapper Silentó. In March 2015, he was signed to Capitol Records, which released the track as a single with an accompanying music video. With a viral clip on YouTube, the song was popular for its dance, a combination of two popular moves cited in the title: the "Whip" and the "Nae Nae" as well as other hip hop dances from various songs "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" and "Stanky Legg".
