Time and time again we have seen Sauti Sol boys band member Chimano effortlessly rock in vintage fashion pieces and we love how they fit.

The term "vintage" is used to describe clothing between 20 and 100 years old that is also clearly representative of the era in which it was produced.

The Sauti Sol boys majorly rock Ankara clothing from Nick Ondu's (Ankara Vintage) designs.

Speaking in a past interview Bien and Chimano explained the reason they have stuck with their designer Nick Ondu is because of his reliability, affordability and efficiency.

Bien said,

“I only wear Nick Ondu suits. He is reliable, his work is very good. Fundis can be crafty. They are good for the first three suits then they disappear.'

Chimano added,

 “There is not much spending power in Kenya, people need to realize that.

We are in a weird place.

We are trying to find a balance in the fashion industry and answering questions such as what is mass market and how can you make it good quality without having to compromise on the price.”

Truth is the vintage pieces look good on the Sauti Sol members but it's easy to see that Chimano rocks vintage more than the other members.
