Diana Marua wife to gospel artiste Bahati has told off Kenyans who want her to settle for an average life just to please them.

She had come under harsh criticism for praising her husband in public after landing an endorsement deal.

One fan posed,

'@diana_marua so someone is getting a heartburn because you are getting blessings left right and centre. yawa poverty is never your potion.'

To which Diana Marua responded,

'Imagine 😂😂😂 I didn't come on earth to die poor. I came to live and live life to the fullest, I speak life and I will finish the race Strong 🤗.'

Another fan was quick to remind Diana Marua that people will only celebrate you when you have wealth and fame but once it's gone there is nothing left.

'@diana_marua uliona post ya @akotheekenya akitwambia ati ata celebs ni watu wakipata shida tuwe tunawasaidia??@akotheekenya ebu niambie ii comment ya mama heaven ata apate shida gani ka atasaidiwa pia nyinyi macelebs mjue kua humble.'

Akothee's post had been in regards to lady Maureen a celebrated Kenyan artist who is currently wallowing in poverty.

'Its fun being an artist, a celebrity, until you cant pay your bills or face health challenges! Lets all be sensitive enough to understand that all celebrities are human beings and need support!

The money we receive in the industry might not be enough to run the daily life just like yours! Unfortunately when bad luck befalls us celebrities! We immediately turn into a laughing stalk! You even wonder!'

Adding,

'Where are those who used to come to my shows, where are those who said I motivated them, the promoters who used to call me for their shows?

That's why we try keep our challenges to ourselves, simply because "who cares?" its only in kenya that I see celebrities die and languish in proverty !😭😭😭

Is it our way of spending or the economy is just wired!?

Nothing is strange about an artiste falling sick, so lets all tag all the Luo promoters and radio presenters to stand up for OUR LADY MOURINE SHE IS A GOOD ENTERTAINER LETS APPRECIATE OUR HEROS 💪💪💪 #IStandwithladymourine

STOP CIRCULATING HER PHOTOS MOBILIZE ORGANISE AND GIVE HER HOPE 🙏🏾🙏🏾'

What are your thoughts on Diana Marua's response? Should she have praised her hubby privately ama kila mtu apambane na hali yake?
