Diana Marua and her relationship with Bahati will always be scrutinised, especially because she’s older. That is why Diana takes every opportunity she has to defend her marriage to the masses.
On the couple’s show, “Being Bahati”, she said:
Mimi sina hio time kwanza nalala vizuri sana, nakula vizuri sana, nakunywa vizuri sana. Why? Because I know I am the one chosen for Bahati by God.
This translates to: “I don’t have that time, in fact, I sleep very well and drink very well…”
Diana has had to defend herself severally from attacks from some of her detractors who believe that she isn’t right for Bahati because she is 2 years older than him.
She even now proudly calls herself “shosho” the denigrating term many have used against her. But we must ask? Does the “one” really exist as she alludes to in her quote? Diana’s relationship with Bahati evokes thoughts of Kim and Kanye West’s relationship in a weird way.
They have had to endure abuse, especially attacks on Kim’s person. Kanye has been her fervent defender through thick and thin.
Some people have observed that men who dated women from the Kardashian clan tended to regress mentally and financially. Something called the Kardashian curse.
This theory has been tested with the likes of Ray J (Kim’s ex), Lamar Odom (Khloe’s ex) and even Kanye West himself suffering some devasting losses, ever since they met the women from the clan.
Ray J’s musical career cratered, Lamar’s basketball career was never the same again and Kanye has been in his sunken place ever since he married Kim (too harsh?).
Although it is a good theory, it’s lazy. A man should lead his home. The men previously listed just show they are weak characters who are content being led by their wives, which is a recipe for disaster.
Question is? Who is leading who between Bahati and Diana Marua?
