The CEO of Wasafi Classic Baby record label, has no kind words to say to dissidents.

This comes after it was reported that the Tanzanian based music label is haemorrhaging talent.

Already there are whispered that his top talent like Lavalava and Rayvanny are grumbling and could be checking out of the label if their grievances are not addressed.

However, Harmonize, the number two talent from the label has officially quit the label. He started his own outfit called Konde Gang label.

In a recent interview, Diamond said that he will not force anyone to perform in any of his shows.

“Ila kama yule mwingine (Harmonize) ambae hajataka aondoke zake, kwani sisi anatusaidia na nini? (Just like that other guy [Harmonize] who did not want, he should leave, go, what is he helping us with?)” Diamond said in a caustic response.

Diamond explained why some names were missing in the line-up of the upcoming Wasafi Festival saying,

"We cannot offer a platform to all artistes in the label. Whoever is listed as you can see are more than willing to give their best at the show."

Speaking on Wasafi FM, manager Sallam Sharaf said, “He has tendered in a letter to terminate his contract with WCB and as you might have noticed even on his bio he has taken of the WCB icon and instead opted to write Wasafi for life. All we are waiting for is for the audit process to be complete."
