Once upon a time power couple Zari and Diamond Platnumz ruled the entertainment world, but now they are no more. On Valentine's day, Zari, in a lengthy message she shared on Instagram revealed that she had parted ways with Diamond Platnumz, citing infidelity as the main reason for their break up.

"UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO DO.

THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE RUMORS SOME WITH EVIDENCE FLOATING AROUND IN ALL SORTS OF MEDIA IN REGARDS TO DIAMOND’S CONSTANT CHEATING AND SADLY I HAVE DECIDED TO END MY RELATIONSHIP WITH DIAMOND, AS MY RESPECT, INTEGRITY, DIGNITY & WELL BEING CANNOT BE COMPROMISED.

WE ARE SEPARATING AS PARTNERS BUT NOT AS PARENTS.

THIS DOESN’T REDUCE ME AS A SELF-MADE INDIVIDUAL, AND AS A CARING MOTHER, AND THE BOSS LADY YOU HAVE ALL COME TO KNOW.

I WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD AS A MOGUL, I WILL INSPIRE THE WORLD OF WOMEN TO BECOME BOSS LADIES TOO.

Many are still speculating that they will be get back together but that seems just to be a dream.

In a tell-it-all interview with BBC Swahili, the mother of five narrated how the videos of Diamond getting cozy with his former girlfriend Wema Sepetu at a recent event had caused their break-up.

"We were trying to move on from the Baby Mama scandal (with model Hamisa Mobeto) but things like him getting cozy with ex-girlfriends in public, things that degrade me and make me be disrespected by my children was the end," she said.

Adding:

"Honestly speaking when the videos with his ex-girlfriend came up I tried asking him about it immediately the videos came up but he started giving too many explanations and that was when I decided to take time off and we stopped communicating for three weeks before I made my decision on Valentine’s Day,' narrated Zari.

Zari and Diamond Platnumz' break up came barely a week after the videos went viral and Wema came out to reveal that there was nothing 'serious' between them.

"WE HAVE NEVER HAD BEEF. WHEN OUR RELATIONSHIP ENDED, PEOPLE CREATED STORIES THAT WE HATED EACH OTHER BUT WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON GOOD TERMS. WE HAVE MOVED ON AND WE ARE HAPPY. I RESPECT HIS LIFE AND HE DOES THE SAME, WHICH IS A GOOD THING. WE HAVE MATURED, PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS TALK, BUT WE ARE JUST FRIENDS."

Well, Zari went ahead to reveal that she was forced to block the Tanzanian crooner from her life and they're not getting back together.

"Tumewachana kabisa. It's done," said Zari.

The Ugandan socialite said she got fed up with Diamond Platnumz after he failed to give her a proper explanation concerning the numerous videos of him and Wema getting cozy, which went viral.

She then cut communication with the Utanipenda hitmaker before she unleashed the break-up message on Valentine's day.

"I haven't communicated with anyone, I have decided to be away and be in a proper mental situation not being emotional and that is why I have kept off," she said.

Zari said that Diamond Platnumz has since then not visited his family in South Africa to see how his children are fairing on.

"Diamond has not visited nor talked to his children since the break-up. If he wants to support his children he can do that but if he doesn't want to its still okay. I can manage on my own,"  Zari said.

Diamond Platnumz on the other hand, is gearing up for an album launch, which will take place in Nairobi. A few days ago, the singer was handed the broadcasting license for Wasafi TV and radio station by the minister of ICT in Zanzibar. He shared the great news with his followers and he wrote:
