Last weekend, Diamond Platnumz performed at Koroga festival while his wife Zari Hassan was busy mourning the death of her ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga who was buried yesterday.

In an interview with Larry Madowo on the trend, Diamond Platnumz promised to attend the funeral but he didn't. Even during the mass requiem at Namirembe in Kampala, he never showed up.

On Monday, after Ivan's mass, Zari took to social media to share some of the photos which were taken at the church and on one particular photo she captioned with a message that many speculated that it was directed to her fake friends including Diamond who were not there for her. But this is just speculations.

"In life, with time, you realise who is important who is not. Some will act to be there for you when it's all a lie. But in this world, what's at my door will come knocking at yours.... soon or later!!!!!," Zari posted.

Diamond Platnumz, on the other hand, was in Tanzania (Monday evening) and he shared photos on his Snapchat account with members of WCB at their studios. On Tuesday, many expected the Utanipenda hitmaker to show up at the funeral to pay his last respect to the fallen sangoma but he didn't show up as he had promised.

Diamond went ahead to a message on his Instagram account; "Too many fake people in this world" leaving his followers with many questions than answers.

Was this message directed to Zari after she made a comment about fake people? Or was Diamond attacking his wife's friends the likes of Vera Sidika for not standing with her during the funeral of his ex, the father of his three sons?

Well, Diamond's manager has finally revealed the reason why they didn't make it to the funeral and below is what he said;

 "We were going to attend Ivan's funeral earlier today but we found out that Zari and the family left yesterday (Monday) night for the village."
