This just in: anti terrorism police in Nyali have nabbed a vehicle as it made it's way into one of the biggest shopping complexes in Mombasa's Nyali area -City Mall Nakumatt.

Members of the anti-terrorism unit, were acting on a tip-off nabbed the vehicle which had 4 occupants -among them a woman- and after interrogating them onsite, took them to Bamburi Police station for further investigation.

City Mall Nakumatt management has declined to comment.

This comes just a day after a terrorist attack in Garissa left 180 students dead. Security has been tightened in and around the city over the Easter holiday with more police officers being deployed to patrol the streets.
