Jacque Maribe was granted bail yesterday to the jubilation of many. The single mother will now be able to see her son Zahari and commune freely with those that she calls friends and family.

But one thing that many don't know is that Itumbi has been communicating with Jacque on the DL while she was locked up. What have they been talking about? Well, Itumbi decided to release this information He wrote:

May she get bail so that like she told me yesterday, she can try and end the pain of tens of remandees who are locked up for years because they could not afford bail amounts ranging from Shs. 3,000 to 10,000.

He added:

Dear God, you know her heart, you know she means it when she says ” she will mobilize her friends to assist those suffering because they cannot access legal aid.

This comes after prosecution raised issue with Dennis Itumbi’s letters and poems to Jacque posted hours before Jacque’s court appearances. He added later on in his message:

I pray that even as she helps – as per by the law established, If anyone needs to pay the cost of a bad choice, or intentional violation of the law, You dear Lord, grant them the grace for that and Mercy where it applies. If they deserve their freedom, may their innocence be established fairly and conclusively? For my friend Jacque, I pray for Justice, that she may be surrounded by lasting peace despite bearing the brunt of void accusation, mainly prosecuted through public media as opposed to real evidence in court.

What do you think of Jacque's stated goal?
