Today alone there've been at least seven demonstrations in Nairobi. This is not okay at all. Something is terribly wrong, and I think it's time to fix it.

From matatu owners/drivers, artistes, opposition supporters and even lions, it seems everyone is out on the streets to fight for what's rightfully his or hers. Is the government not doing enough? Matatu demo has started on Ronald Ngala street. Caution. Find alternative routes.

Matatu demonstration started a few minutes ago on Ronald Ngala street and spread to other streets and areas outside the Central Business District such as Thika Highway and Ngong Road. There were reports that City Hall way was blocked by demonstrators as sirens and screaming were also heard.

Apart from ODM supporters who were also allegedly on the streets, our musicians were also not left out as they also took it to the streets to demand copyright fees payments.  (See pictures below)
