Jacque Maribe and Joe Irungu are back in court today. They are both trying to get bail and the court hearing was to adjudicate on when their application would be heard.

The two have already become regular guests of our Kenyan courtrooms as they have already made several visits since their legal troubles started last month.

On Monday, when the two gave their "not guilty" pleas Jacque was resplendent in a green outfit with what my colleague calls a flat-iron wig. Jowie was dressed casually in a tracksuit and his left arm was in a sling.

The narrative continued today as they looked more settled with Jacque Maribe wearing a yellow dress and Joe donning a full suit today. The two sat side by side and were very pensive as they observed the proceedings. Joe was even observed smiling.

They looked more collected and put together, maybe as a result of them having time to meditate about their circumstances and conferring with their lawyers.
